I’m 70. my wife is 67.
Coping with his problems is very difficult.

My main concerns are that we should have training in psychology and practical assertiveness to help all us cope and improve the quailty of our lives.

I believe my son is repairable (i.e not 100% but high), so training would take away a lot of the stress and strain of day to day living.

We are making a film to highlight to these issues and other carers problems. Any ideas, suggestions or methods to assist us and others would be appreciated.

We are : Ada, Carol, Denise, Helen, Lynda, Maureen, Mavis and Tony.

So far we have got to know each other, discussed what our film will be about and got to try out the equipment and various roles within the film-making team.
